3/25/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved Behavior: QMHP-C met with Client in the home to continue IIH. Client appeared to be in a bad mood evident by her facial expression and desire to not participate in session. As time progressed, Client became more active throughout session and her mood became to improve.the member continues to not follow directions and disrespect figures of authority and her mother. Behavior: During the second portion of the session, client displayed withdrawn behaviors as she was not wanting to listen to QMHP-C discuss with her mother abut her attitude within the home such as her not listening to her mother and having anger issues when asked to complete a certain task. Intervention: QMHP-C taught Client communication and assertiveness skills when interaction with others. QMHP-C defined non-verbal communication as she can communicate without words such as body language and eye contact as Client struggles with expressing herself. QMHP-C engaged Client in calming skills to relax when triggered by others. Intervention: QMHP-C engaged Client in a role-played demonstrating to Client different techniques to demonstrate appropriate ways to show feelings to avoid aggressively acting out. QMHP-C discussed values and beliefs with Client and identified her feelings and thoughts when someone disrespects her. QMHP-C role-played scenarios with Client on how she should display acceptable behaviors toward her mother and authority figures whether in the home, community and school. Response: Client appeared to be receptive to QMHP-C’s interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Client continues to struggle with communicating effectively with her family members as he shuts down in lieu of discussing her feelings and thoughts age-appropriately. Client shared that she is trying to do better when it comes to her and her mother but that is a work in progress because her mother has a smart mouth towards her although she is her mother. Response: It was reported by mother that Client continues to have difficulty with following rules in the home as she continues to disobey and do whatever she feels on a daily basis. Through role-playing Client was open to suggestions and interacted with QMHP-C. Client struggles being able to communicate her feelings being as though she is young as well as following the rules within the home.
